The Downside of Bankruptcy Software
Not all bankruptcy software are the same. When you install
any program on your hard drive, you give the software the right
to also install whatever other programs,
key-loggers, Trojan worms, tracker programs or spyware that it wants into your
computer.
It is quite simple. When you click the download button, your
browser asks you if you trust the program. It asks you this
because browser makers like Microsoft® and Apple® know that a lot
of malicious spyware are cleverly slipped in by apparently
legitimate-looking companies.
Once you click,
I Accept, the browser opens
the doors of your entire computer to this outside company
because you just said that you trust them with your life.
This is one of the main reasons why you should avoid any
bankruptcy program that gets downloaded and installed on your
computer. But this is the least of your problems.
Here is The Catch
Every time you install a software to your hard drive, it
writes permanent instructions to the heart of your operating
system called the registry. It can also modify computer
resources that other programs share.
Here is how it does it. Many of them will replace
special operating system programs called DLLs with their own version of the same DLLs, because they think
that their own version makes their bankruptcy program work
better. While that may be true, they have just replaced a
DLL written by Microsoft® or Apple® and tested on millions of
users, with their own quirky and untested DLL.
If you think that this is no big deal, you will be singing
the blues when other important programs that you have relied on
for years stop working after you have installed some
mew bankruptcy program. In the industry it
is called DLL hell. You can do a search on Google for
DLL hell and you will see what we are talking about.
for an instant Google search for
DLL hell.
So, it is not always that the un-trusted software company is
trying to slime your system. Most often it is that the writers
of the new programs are just not that good or skilled at
protecting your overall computer system. They care only about
their program and if it works well but ruins your other
programs, it is not their problem and chances are that you will
never connect it to them. And you know, it is the same with
their demo programs. Just because it says demo does not mean
that it is any safer.
The Uninstall Trap: One
would expect that uninstalling the program after you are done
with it will solve all the problems, right? Wrong! Most often
this is where the real problem starts. This is because when you
do the uninstall routine, their uninstall will often delete not
only some of its own DLLs but also shared DLLs that it has modified. This
includes vital DLLs from the operating system that were replaced
by the bankruptcy program.
This means that if your other important programs need the
shared DLL, they will not find it and they will just stop
working. During the uninstall process the Windows operating
system will ask you if you want to delete certain DLLs as part
of the uninstall. How do you now when to say no or yes? If you
say, no, then the bankruptcy program stays on your hard drive.
if you say yes, you could be inadvertently destroying the only
copy of a DLL that other programs need.
Play it safe and use only online
software: Online software
displays in your browser just like any ordinary web page. It does
not download to your hard drive and it does not install anything
to your computer. The browser never has to ask you for
permission to trust your life to a company that you do not know. Our
software runs on our own servers and never installs anything
on your computer. You can use it from your work place and never
have to worry about it leaving some programs on your company
computer. So, use online software and...
Avoid Installing Anything on Your Hard Drive!!
Attorney Quality Bankruptcy At a fraction of
The Cost
Dear Friend:
Our online software complies with the new bankruptcy laws and continues the
tradition of making it all so hassle-free and that is saying a lot when you
consider the tons of paperwork that the new laws have introduced. You have
probably spent weeks researching and trying to decide if you should file and who
you should use. If you are leaning towards using an attorney, you need to be
aware that most attorneys take 2 to 3 weeks to get all the paperwork ready and
they charge a king's ransom.
If cost is the bottom line for you, then we are the best value.
If you do not want to pay attorney fees but you want a level of service
comparable to an attorney or may be perhaps even better in some cases, then use a full service
company.
What is the difference between a Full Service company
and an online attorney?
Little to none. The reason is that almost all online bankruptcy attorneys are
full service companies who have rented an attorney's name so that they can
charge more. Behind the scenes, the work is done by trained staff exactly the
same way as any other Full Service company.
We charge a lot less than the full service companies, but if you want the
added comfort of a trained person doing it for you, rather than using our online
software, then these are the best Full Services companies.
USA Bankruptcy Associates
Easy Bankruptcy Services
Bridgeport Bankruptcy
DebtorAid
EZ Filing
If you insist on using an attorney, here are some good ones. The last time we
checked, they charged from $750 to $1250 which is reasonable.

B. Lever, ESQ.
Randal
Meek, ESQ
Reich & Scully, Attorneys at Law
(We do not get paid anything for mentioning these lawyers or bankruptcy
resource vendors. We just want to let people know that they do not have to miss
the new law deadline just because they cannot afford the legal fees.)
Before you order our bankruptcy software, read the rest of
the page to find out what our software does and to learn more
about your choices.
Full Service or Hand Made bankruptcies take time and
cost a lot because a trained person works all the numbers and
makes sure that the finished documents will be approved by the
court. That is what you get with an attorney or with a Full
Service company.
Full Service and Attorney prepared bankruptcy documents are
pretty much the same quality because even with an attorney, it
is their trained staff who are really doing the work.
With an Automated Online System, you use computer software
located on the server of the company to prepare your own
bankruptcy in a do-it-yourself way. No one else other than
yourself sees the information that you enter or prepares the
documents or checks it for compliance with bankruptcy laws.
An automated online bankruptcy system is the next best thing
when you cannot afford an attorney or a Full Service company. We
are not a Full Service preparation company and we will not hide
that from you. We provide the best Automated Online Bankruptcy
System at the lowest price in the industry.
Our online software platform was developed with the help and
approval of bankruptcy lawyers. We do not claim to be lawyer
supervised. Only a full service company can provide lawyer
supervision since a lawyer can review the documents before
sending them to you.
If you are the nervous type and do not trust yourself do it
using an automated online system, then visit
bkreview.com
and select one of the Full Service companies that they recommend. VendorHound checks out the various providers and lets
you know which ones are Full Service and which ones are not. It
is your bankruptcy and you deserve to know your choices.
How can we boldly ask you to check out the competition? It is
easy. Most people can safely use an automated online bankruptcy
system to prepare their documents and it is those people that
our system is designed for. After comparing us to the others,
you will come back to us because we are the best value for your
money. If you decide to use them instead of us, then we we glad
to have served a need.
Now that we have gotten that out of the way, here is what we can
do for you...
Here are the 3 easy steps to using our system:
- Place Your Order: You order online on our secure
servers. Ordering from us is extremely secure because we do
not store your card number anywhere. We simply pass it on to
your credit card issuer and then discard it. This way, even if
thieves carry off all our servers, you are not compromised. We issue you a logon name and password with which you
can log on to the Automated Online System.
- Enter Your Data: Log on and enter your data in the
easiest online entry screens every designed for bankruptcy.
There is no guesswork and no confusing choices to make or
instructions to read. There is no learning process. It usually takes
20 to 30 minutes to type in your bills.
- Print and File: After entering your bills and
personal information, you look it all over to make sure that
it is okay. If you left out any bills by mistake, you can
always log back in and enter it. When you are satisfied that
you have entered everything, you simply press the print button
and your documents will be generated by our powerful system
and displayed right there in your browser window. Print the
documents and sign and then file them with the
court by mail or in person. We provide you the location of the
court where you need to file.
You access our automated system from your browser just as you
would any other ordinary web page. You enter your information
right there in your browser. There is no software to install and
you do not need to use a word processor.
You can change any information that you have already entered
and you can save your work on our server simply by clicking on the
save icon.
You can print your documents as many times as you need to. If
after printing you discover another bill that you left out,
simply log back in and enter it and then print again. There is
no need to ask us to reset your account, (what ever that means)
or to grant you some special privilege. If you like, you
can make 20,000 changes and reprint 20,000 times all in
one night or in several days, that is entirely up to you.
And here is one thing that you will
love...
Our automated system has a proprietary checker feature that
scans through all of the information that you
have entered and checks them to make sure that they are within
the acceptable ranges needed for approval. If
something does not check out, the system flags it in red so that
you can make changes.
Now that is not the same thing as having a pair of eyes
looking over the data as you can expect with an attorney or Full
Service company but it is a lifesaver. This is one more reason
no other automated system comes close.
We guarantee that your documents will be accepted by the
bankruptcy court or your full money back.
THAT IS ALL THERE IS TO IT FOLKS!
Read on if you want to get the boring details.
Our documents includes all of the official forms that are
required in all 50 states and a few more that we throw in for
good measure. This is a list of the official forms.

If you want to reaffirm some debts, we provide the
reaffirmation forms for free.
You do not need a credit report in order to prepare your
bankruptcy but if you want one anyway, you can get it for free
by clicking here -
Free Credit Report.
Our documents are valid in all 50 states and they are always up-to-date.
We have talked about Trojan worms and DLLs and now you know to stay
away from executable EXE programs from no-name companies for fear of turning
control of your computer to a malicious programmer. You never
have to worry about that with us.
Our online bankruptcy system runs on our own servers, not on
your computer, so there is nothing for you to install on your
end. You use our software from your browser like you would any other plain web page. This way, you tap into the power of
our system from the safe distance of your browser.
As we said earlier, our web interface is so easy to use, it
is fool-proof. You do not have to know bankruptcy
law or to read anything before using it. You simply answer
a few simple questions such as your name, address, creditors,
income and approximate expenses and the online system does the
rest.
If you need to take a break, you can. Just click the save button
and the system saves your data on our server so that you can log
in again at your convenience to continue. Also, you do not need
to have your information organized. Enter it however you
like and our software will organize it exactly the way the court
wants it.
How quickly can you file your bankruptcy? That is entirely up to
you. If you want to file your bankruptcy one hour from now, you
can. This is because, since our software is fully automated, you
can print and file your documents whenever you are done
entering your basic information. You can enter your information
in as little as 10 minutes and the software can print your
documents in a matter of seconds, so it is really up to you.
Oh Yeah! One more thing. You can log on from any location to
enter your info or to print your documents. You can start at
home and then continue on your lunch break from work.
Look Out For Document Templates
You know what a word processor is, right? There is Microsoft Word
and there is WordPerfect to name a few.
Have you ever tried modifying a single page of a complex
Microsoft Word document that someone else wrote?
If you are honest, you will admit that it is a killer. It is even
more so when this one page Word doc has several columns, grids, form
dialogue boxes and graphics.
What happens is that the whole thing wobbles and distorts like
hot Jell-O on a picnic table. You change one word and it throws off
the whole paragraph and ruins the fancy formatting. The pretty
graphic image on the page jumps 3 inches down and the large heading
changes font to small print.
That is what a document template will do and mark that word,
document template,
because that is the key to the whole bankruptcy kit puzzle.
Is it Software or is it a DOCUMENT TEMPLATE?
All bankruptcy kits are document templates, pure and simple.
This means that if you buy the so-called "bankruptcy software" from
Standard Bk, you are not just buying one complicated Microsoft Word
document with many columns, dialogue boxes, images,
special formatting and more...
You are buying 50 to 100 Microsoft Word
document templates with hundreds of columns, dialogue boxes,
images, special formatting, and you have to modify and fill out
every single one of them and most importantly, you have to know what
you are doing?
That is the kicker!
So, is it software or is it a cleaver marketing technique
designed to make you think you are buying software when you are
in fact just buying a package of Microsoft Word documents that you
could probably download for free from the government if you know
where to look?
You would never call a Word or WordPerfect letter or resume that you
typed, a piece of software, would you?
|
Watch out for these icons -----> |
 |
If you see these icons on their site, then they are selling you Word
document templates, not
software!
What an eye opener!
So, if that is what bankruptcy kits are, what is online bankruptcy
software?
The answer is simple. With authentic online bankruptcy software, the
end product may be a document, but you the customer will never have
to handle or fill one out.
You have probably heard of TurboTax, right? TurboTax is an ultra
easy tax preparation software. You answer a few simple questions and
TurboTax generates every single tax form for you, completely filled
out, so all you do is sign your name and wait for your refund.
You never have to know the tax law or what you are doing. You work
hard for your money and you do not want the headache of figuring out
what tax forms you need or to read the 20 page instructions booklet.
You just want to enter your name, answer a few yes/no questions and
be done with it.
That is exactly what our online bankruptcy software is. You enter
your name and address, answer a few questions and press the finish
button and all 50 to 100 pages of your completed bankruptcy
documents slide out of your printer, ready for your signature.
That is it in a nut shell.
So the next time you come across a bankruptcy web site that says it
sells bankruptcy software, don't be fooled. Look out for the word
Microsoft Word or the phrase, "it comes with complete instructions"
or the phrase, "we give you a sample bankruptcy."
If they tell you that the "software" comes with instructions, then
it simple means that they are selling you a bunch of Microsoft Word
documents with instructions on how to survive the ordeal alone.
If they say that the software comes with a completed sample
bankruptcy, that are saying the same thing.
One important clarification...
Document templates also come as PDF files and so, if they say PDF
and not Microsoft Word, it is all pretty much the same. But do not
confuse the PDF in some bankruptcy kits with the PDF output of a
genuine online bankruptcy software. Here is the difference...
All genuine online bankruptcy software will produce as an output,
PDF files which you can print on your printer. You do not work with
PDF files or fill them out. In fact you will not see the PDF file
until the software has completed the bankruptcy and generated the
PDF file for your printer.
With a bankruptcy kit, you are either working with a bunch of
Microsoft Word Documents or a bunch of
fill-in-the-blank-if-you-know-what-you-are-doing PDF files.
If you have many creditors and your bankruptcy consists of 100
pages, with a kit, you will be filling out 100 separate Word or PDF
files.
But it does not end there
Bankruptcy law requires that your information on the finished forms
be tabulated in alphabetical order. This means that on Schedule-F,
if you have listed 52 creditors like...
ABC Bank Corp
ACE Hardware Stores
BF Goodrich Collections
Bank of America
Citibank
...
...
... a whole bunch more, 52 in total ...
Washington Mutual Bank
Zuma Medical Group
...and you discovered a week later that you forgot to enter,
"Adroit Collection Agency"
You would have to move Zuma Medical Group and its address and
details down one step to number 53, and then move Washington Mutual
Bank to number 52, and so on until you have made room for Adroit
Collection Agency in number 3.
Remember, you are not just moving the creditor name but you are also
moving the creditor address, city, zip code, date debt was incurred
and amount owed.
Essentially, you would have to reenter almost every single creditor
detail from scratch because you are working with a document
template, not with software and since a document template is not
software, it cannot rearrange anything.
With our bankruptcy software, this problem never arises. First, you
enter all of your creditors on one small web form in your browser in
any order you like and the software will print them in alphabetic
order.
If you forgot 15 creditors, just enter them and they will be printed
alphabetically with no sweat on your part. That is what software
does and that is why the software revolution is changing the world
as we know it.
Guess what. If you are using a document template and you discover
later that you mistakenly left out Banff Finance Company, you would
have to redo it all over again and pretty soon, you will be swearing
and kicking yourself for not heeding our warning and buying genuine
online bankruptcy software from us or using an attorney or a full
service company.
